Interior and Tech
The C40 gives drivers a premium experience on the interior. The main cabin is virtually silent, and riders and passengers alike can enjoy a luxurious seat made from recycled materials in a Scandinavian style. The dashboard features an inlay of a topographical map that lights up at night, adding character to this already snazzy ride. The CX40 boasts a roomy cabin with plenty of legroom for everyone. The interior feels plush and premium similar to the C40.
Volvo was not shy about adding top-tier tech to their electric vehicles. The CX40 features a Google operating system to power the 12.3-inch infotainment display, making Google Maps a breeze to use while on the road. Google Assistant will also come in handy if you need to take a note, make a call, or find a great place to eat in the area. Google also powers the infotainment system in the CX40, but it features a slightly smaller nine-inch touchscreen display.
Both vehicles offer Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing you to connect your mobile devices in a snap. Play your favorite tunes in the C40 through the 13-speaker, 600-watt Harman Kardon audio system, which is also offered in the Ultimate trim level on the XC40. Drivers can also expect four USB-C ports, a wireless charging pad, and power-adjustable heated seats in the XC40 and the C40.
