If you buy a used car here in the winter, warm the car up for a LONG time before testing the A/C. Because if it runs cold and you buy it, then come back 5 months later after the FIRST hot day and the FIRST attempt at running the A/C since the test drive and now it's warm, they will tell you it broke on your watch (with no evidence) and you need to come up with more than $2,000.
I went in the dealership today to lease a new car I brought in my Tesla to trade in. I showed them my Carvana and Carmax offers. They essentially told me my car was not worth that what carvana and CarMax offered me and to take it to them. No problem I’ll do business elsewhere.

We found a great deal on a 2024 Volvo XC90! Jimmy treated us like family. He actually sat in the car and walked my wife through the Volvo app so it would all be set up and ready to go! These folks are car enthusiasts! We ended up purchasing an extended warranty for the batter and powertrain (T8 plug in hybrid), which seemed logical, but a bit frustrating and expensive for a new vehicle. Came in for my annual checkin/oil change! Service Advisor came out to greet me and already knew me by checking his records. As always, checked why I'm here and what they could do for me. I waited as I always do and settled in for a few hours for working from the dealership. Great service and thoroughness to detail. Finished in 90 minutes and got me back to my life. Kudos! I always get great service when taking my car in for service, or just an oil change at The Autobarn Volvo in Oak Park. On my most recent oil change visit, and with advice from service advisor Marc Kubil, I scheduled an appointment for having my brakes replaced, since the pads were very worn. I trust in them in spotting any problems before something goes wrong.
Both William Sammauro and Jay Conley assisted us in the purchase of our XC90 B6 2025.5 William provided us with the view order form and transit information- he kept us updated. Jay showed his knowledge of the car by demonstrating, discussing and answering our questions.. And last but not least Martha was very helpful in explaining the extended warranty. What a great team!

I liked how they capitalize on every opportunity to move things forward. I called Friday morning to set up an appointment for the future...they said I could bring car in today. Together, we made it happen. The only hiccup was pick up the keys were lost temporarily due to a mixup of they key tag.
The sales guy here tried to use tariffs to get me to put a deposit down before coming out if I really was interested in an xc90 they had on the lot.
Autobarn has their cars priced higher than other dealers in the area, so I was just curious if they'd negotiate that price. I had high hopes purchasing my first brand new vehicle, but my experience at Autobarn Oak Park was extremely disappointing. When I arrived to finalize the sale, no one walked me through the car or explained a single feature — something you'd expect at any dealership, especially one selling a luxury vehicle. I have been bringing my Volvos to Marc Kubil and his service team for over 20 years. They have taken exceptional care of my cars. This week my check engine light came on when I left for work and I drove it straight over to them and they took me right away with no appointment. They had me up and running the next day. I wouldn't take my Volvos anywhere else.
Brought the car in for a piece of trim that was coming loose. They ordered the part and had it within a few days. Returned to have the piece installed, and it was ready in under an hour. Dealing with Marc Kubil is always an efficient and pleasant experience.

I always get great service when taking my car in for everything from an oil change to any repairs or maintenance to my car. On my last visit, service advisor Jamia Garcia, advised me of many options of tire manufacturers available to replace my old tires. He offered advice on what he thought would be my best choice, and had the replacements ordered quickly and installed on my car. He also advised on having a wheel alignment to insure of even tire wear and smooth ride. I would recommend them to everyone.

Robert Fellows and Jamir in the Service Department are simply excellent. I live downtown and have had tons of issues with the service department at the 'other Volvo' dealer in Lincoln Park. While the Oak Park location is quite a bit more inconvenient for me, I find the trustworthiness, cost and responsiveness from this Service crew to completely make it worth my while. I have done everything here from routine maintenance to flat tires. Strongly recommend.

Excellent service department. We have been taking our Volvo here since we bought it and always received honest and excellent service. Our last service appointment turned out to be a sad one. Marc Kubil was amazingly honest to let us know that the repairs needed were more costly than the value of our 2013 Volvo. This was hard to hear, but the honesty was very very much appreciated. Autobarn Volvo Oak Park is fantastic, we have bought two vehicles from there. The service team is professional and straight. The best service department I have ever worked with at ANY dealer; They are forthright with what service work is needed, how to prioritize and what work can wait. They also frequently run discounts and specials. I only trust them to replace my Volvo's brakes.
My experience was 180 degrees opposite from my last experience with purchasing a used car from another dealer. Rodney Garmon was great to work with. I felt he listened to my concerns and worked to make our purchase a win-win situation. For repairs to the front suspension and timing belt of my 2003 Volvo, service advisor Robert Fellows was very thorough in his explanation of what needed to be replaced, and showed me what problems they might encounter with an older car.. He kept me informed as to the progress of the repairs, and even got me a ride to the dealership to pick up my car when the work was complete. I would recommend their services to anyone who needs work done on their Volvo.
I emailed about a car I saw online in their inventory. Jay Conley answered same day. He was thorough, knows, and friendly.
Had the car in to correct recurring sound issues. Marc provided me with a loaner vehicle knowing it would take a while. He persisted with the factory to get the proper fix completed. He was completely on my side to get the job done right!
